Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
KC Deck Works LLC ("we", "us") runs this website at https://kcdeckworks.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Estimate, photo and storm forms. Your name, mobile number, email address if you give one, your city, the project you need, and anything you type in the notes. We use it to contact you about your project, prepare an estimate and keep a record of the work. It is stored in our website database and in our customer management system, LeadConnector. Email confirmations are sent through Resend.
Photos. Photos you send with the photo form are stored privately on our web server, outside the public media library, and shared only with the people preparing your estimate.
Text messages. When you check the consent box on a form, you agree that we may call and text you about your request at the number you gave. Message frequency depends on the project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We never sell or share your number with third parties for their marketing.
Advertising measurement. We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. This site uses the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure which ads lead to estimate requests. When you send a form, we share hashed (scrambled) copies of your name, phone number, email and city with Meta so it can match the request to an ad. Meta may set cookies for this. You can control ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
Site analytics. We may use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how people found the site. Google sets cookies for this. You can block them in your browser settings.
Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page and sends it to Google, under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP addresses, browser type and pages requested to keep the site running and to stop abuse. Forms also record the IP address a request came from, to block spam.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not send marketing email or text campaigns unless you ask for them.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Who else touches your data
LeadConnector (customer records and texting), our automation and text-message providers (alerts to our team), Resend (email delivery), Meta (ad measurement), Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA spam protection) and our web host. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We share only what each needs to do its job.
Your choices
Call or text (816) 394-8667 to see what we have on file, correct it, or have it deleted. We keep project records as long as we need them for warranty questions, taxes and bookkeeping, then delete them.
